What Is Amazon Doing for the People Who Lost Jobs?

- Pay and benefits for at least 60 more days after they leave.
- Keeping health insurance during that time.
- Helping them try to find a new job, either inside Amazon or at another company.
- Extra money if they qualify, called “severance pay.”

This is because the tech world is changing fast, and companies want to stay profitable and ready for the future.

Even with layoffs, AWS is still the biggest cloud services company in the world, with about 29% of the market! Amazon says it will keep hiring for jobs that help its business grow, especially in areas like AI and more advanced cloud computing.
